Boas notícias para Hank Moody: Não somente("SPOILER do final da 2ª temporada") como ele esta de volta para mais angustia, e bobagens irresponsáveis. Showtime escolheu a 3ª temporada da ganhadora do GLOBO de OURO Californication.
"Não seria Showtime sem um boa dose anual de Californication. Este apolégico show sobre um grupo de personagens liderados pelo Inimitável David Duchovny, tem rapidamente se estabelecido como uma marca das comédias do Showtime.

Neste "dramedy"(mistura de drama com comédia), o autor/blogueiro e complicado cara Hank Moody lida com sua fraqueza por sexo, drogas e franquesa exagerada que causam tensão na relação com sua filha Becca e sua ex-namorada Karen. Californication ganhou um EMMY por arte-cinematográfica e um GG para Duchovny.

Showtime has picked up a third season of its Golden Globe-winning " Californication," it was announced today."It wouldn't be Showtime without a yearly dose of 'Californication,'" says Robert Greenblatt, Showtime's President of Entertainment. "This unapologetic show, about a group of characters led by the inimitable David Duchovny, has quickly established itself as one of our signature comedy series. Beneath its veneer of debauchery, however, is a complex take on love and adult relationships that surprisingly turns poetic and romantic just when you least expect it."Adds Duchovny, "[The cast and I] have such creative freedom and support, it's been a peak experience, and I am so happy to be doing the show."The third season will return in late 2009 with 12 new episodes. Production for the season will begin next spring.On the Showtime dramedy, novelist/blogger and conflicted guy Hank Moody (Duchovny) deals with his weakness for sex, drugs and telling the truth, which causes friction in his relationships with his Goth-edged teenaged daughter Becca (Madeleine Martin) and ex-girlfriend Karen (Natascha McElhone)."Californication" won an Emmy for its cinematography and a Golden Globe for Duchovny.
